As per heat treatment of UNS N08028 forged parts, it should be Solution annealing 1100-1160°C (2010-2120°F), 10-30 minutes, quenching in water.

 UNS N08028 offers resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids and salts. The presence of copper increases its resistance to sulfuric acid
UNS N08028 is requires an adjustment of tooling data and machining method, in order to achieve satisfactory results. Compared to Sanmac 316/316L, the cutting speed must be reduced by approximately 50-55% when turning UNS N08028 with coated, cemented carbide tools. Much the same applies to other operations. Feeds should only be reduced slightly and with care
